AN: God, it's hard to write about androgynous/genderless Gods without using he/she and it, because 'it' sounds so... condescending. UGH
Adera sat idly watching the smaller two siblings, Fate and Hope as they played with a crystalline ball. They were so childlike in their dispositions and actions, that it was almost hard for Adera to remember that they were all created at the same time. Deleron sat nearby, resting and observing. Adera felt a tug of boredom, so it decided to engage Deleron into a conversation.
“How do you feel about Celia’s refusal to help? I don’t know if I should be pleased or not.” When Adera spoke, the two beings with the ball looked up blandly before returning to their game.
Deleron’s eyes opened slowly, but stared directly in front. “She is a coward.”
“I thought as much. I feel as though I should be pleased at the many who have been slain, but they have not been slain in my name, nor were any of them Ready to go.” Adera could not decide even to smile or frown.
“She could have prevented so many useless deaths, could she not?” Deleron raised its eyes to meet Adera’s. “Do you not agree?”
Adera’s long blonde locks framed its androgynous face, presenting quite the opposite of what would be seen as the God of Death, yet in itself Death was a beauteous thing. “I feel I must agree, dear sibling, and yet, I do not know if I can. If she were to have tried to assist, would she not have lost her life to the Fell?”
“She would have.” It seemed that Deleron did not enjoy this conversation. In truth, it was not much of a speaker, instead chose rather to sit in silence, only speaking when necessary. More often than not, none would hear its voice besides its siblings.
“Celia is meant for much more than to die a death from a Fell.” Fate had looked up from its game and smiled. “I saw it.”
At that moment, there came a knock, and Keirel, the God of Beauty appeared. “Greetings, four.”
“Hello, Keirel,” Adera smiled. Deleron merely nodded, and Fate and Hope both jumped into Keirel’s arms. Being that the two were so small, Keirel had an easy time of carrying them.
The newcomer carried them around for a bit before letting them down and allowing them to go back to their complicated little game. “Adera, I’ve been meaning to speak with you.”
“Oh? Of what?”
“Let us walk.”
And they did.
Since this is such a short post... I THINK EVERYONE WHO READS THIS SHOULD COMMENT AND TELL ME SO :D I'd like to hear any feedback, seriously. I want to know if people are bothering or not. I guess I'm just selfish, but do be nice and humour me. If you don't even have any feedback, just comment saying you do read it so I can feel okay about myself :P
